A gas turbine power generation system requiring a minimum design change of a gas turbine and capable of accomplishing a high output and high efficiency under the condition where a water quantity supplied is small, provided with a small droplet atomizer (11) installed in a suction chamber (22) on the upstream side of an air compressor (2), a humidifier (7) for humidifying high pressure air discharged from the compressor (2) and a regenerator (5) for heating the air so humidified, by using an exhaust gas of the gas turbine as the heat source. Consequently, the power reduction effect of the compressor (2) and the output increasing effect by humidification of the combustion air (20) can be obtained and the fuel consumption can be reduced by employing the regenerative cycle, so that power generation efficiency can be improved.
