<p>A connector (1) with a terminal locking mechanism, which comprises a connection terminal (30) having at one end thereof an elongated, tab-shaped contact portion (31), a latch portion (33) provided centrally of the terminal, a locking piece (37) provided on a side of a connection of the contact portion with the latch portion to be flush with a side of the latch portion and extending toward the tab-shaped contact portion (31) positioned forward, and a contact recess (21) provided in a contact portion fitting hole (20) formed in a housing (10), and wherein, when the connection terminal (30) is inserted into a terminal receiving chamber (11) of the housing, the locking piece (37) on the connection terminal is caused to abut against the contact recess (21) in the contact portion fitting hole (20).</p> |
