The control mechanism (30) opens, shuts and directs ventilator louvers (18-22) into the vehicle passenger cabin. The control (44) operates a rotating lever mechanism (32-36) linked to ventilator louver parallel vanes (50,52). The vanes are linked to each other by teeth (56). The vanes and rotating lever mechanism are mounted on the same base plate.
