The bogie has sprung longitudinal support strips (2) made of plastics, preferably fibre reinforced material, mounted to a common cross carrier frame (5) and connected at their free ends with wheel bearings (4) for the rail wheels (1). The longitudinal support strips each have at least two curved springs (2.1,2.2) carrying the wheel bearings between their free ends. The curved springs, in their nonloaded position, are S-shaped and connected to the lower part of the cross support.
