Valve system for internal combustion engine

The valve mechanism for the internal combustion engine has two parallel rotating shafts (A,B) set across the line of cylinders. One shaft contains the inlet apertures and one shaft the exhaust apertures. The apertures are rectangular and connect the cylinders with insides of the hollow shafts. Seals around the edges of the apertures provide increasing sealing effect through the centrifugal force to which the shafts are subjected. The cylinders are separated by sealing profiles around the shafts, while the shafts are lubricated and cooled by the lubricant. The shafts can be driven mechanically off the crankshaft, by gearing, timing belts or chains, of the shafts can be driven by electric servo motors.
