This pad applies medical treatment to the anal regions. It is novel in comprising an absorbent fabric or comparable material, which can be attached as an inlay or using an adhesive plaster strip, in the underwear. An active material is deposited in the absorbent. Preferably the pad is located in the briefs as an inlay, with the aid of an adhesive side. The pad is alternatively attached to the skin using an adhesive side, in the immediate vicinity of the critical area. It includes a medicament and/or an anti-inflammatory agent.
