Belt grinder especially for cylindrical workpieces, with continuous grinding belt

The continuous grinding belt (5) runs round parallel rollers fixed to a holder (4). One of the rollers has a drive mechanism. The holder has a recess (7) open at the end side and into which the workpieces (8) are radially inserted. Two rollers (1,2) are positioned on opposite edges (10,11) of the recess; a third roller (3) is at the apex of the recess. A stringer (15) of the grinding belt runs through the recess. The belt is longer than the combined peripheral length of the rollers.
