Fuel supply system for vehicles

The fuel supply system comprises a differential pressure indicator (6) which is connected to a display device (7) which is visible from outside of the fuel tank (2). The pressure indicator is formed such that it operates the display when a predetermined limit differential pressure is exceeded. The predetermined limit differential pressure is so selected that with a maximum fuel supply flow a display occurs, when the fuel filter (4) is pressurised such that a fuel feed in all operating areas is still guaranteed. The display device is provided with a maximum value display which is a component part of the exchangeable fuel filter.
