The invention concerns a synthetic fabric with directional reinforcing elements comprising reinforcing elements consisting of synthetic strips (10) extruded in a material compatible with that constituting the synthetic fabric (1) and reinforced with reinforcing yarns (11, 12) integrated into the synthetic strips during extrusion. The synthetic strips (10) are assembled to the fabric (1) by fusion such that, after fusion, the synthetic strips and the reinforcing yarns constitute a single-piece reinforcing structure integrated in the fabric. The reinforcing elements are oriented according to the forces acting on the fabric and according to the geometrical shape of the three-dimensional fabric.
