Disclosed is a method and device for three-dimensional bending of hollow metal sections (12), wherein the hollow section to be bent is introduced into and passed through a cross-bending head (40), which is mounted in a bending head station (23) and which can be adjusted at least semi-cardanically in at least Y/Z direction. In addition to bending in the Y-Z plane, the hollow section undergoes controlled torsion in at least one plane.
