The invention relates to a continuous-flow steam generator (1) designed in a two-pass construction style and particularly easy to produce and assemble. It includes a second gas pass (14) which is connected via a horizontal gas pass (12) downstream from a first gas pass (8). In accordance with the invention, a second bulkhead heating surface (30) is connected downstream from a first bulkhead heating surface (20) which is arranged in a jet chamber zone (26) inside the first gas pass (8) and is composed of a number of parallel-connected steam-generator pipes for a fluid medium to flow through. The first bulkhead heating surface (20) is vertically longer than the second bulkhead heating surface (30), thus guaranteeing particularly good adaptation of the spatial arrangement of the heating surfaces in the inner area of the first gas pass (8) to the flame in the combustion chamber (4).
