The invention relates to a stationary or mobile passenger loading bridge for speeding up boarding and disembarking of an aircraft, particularly a large aircraft. The inventive passenger loading bridge comprises a single or multi-level bridge cantilever which has connecting gangways and is telescopic according to some designs. The cantilever can be adjusted vertically as a whole or by sections and has telescopic connecting gangways on one side leading to the aircraft fuselage. An additional height adjustment element in the wing area provides the distance necessary to meet safety requirements and docking on and off is made easier by the cantilever tilting upwards or swinging out to the side.
