A collapsible stand integrated tripod riser 1 for holding a tripod is provided comprising a portable stand having a tripod riser integrated directly within the top surface 2 of the stand. The stand integrated tripod riser comprises three tripod leg receiving channels 7,8,9 attached to the top surface thereof for receiving the legs of a typical tripod and a recessed centre section 3 which serves as a standing area. At least one of the receiving channels 8,9 pivots, to move from its storage position to an in-use position. Those channels which are fixed 7 may be integral with the top surface 2. Thus, the integrated tripod riser functions both as a standing platform for an individual as well as a support for a tripod. The device can be quickly and easily folded into a collapsed configuration for transport and storage. |
