The invention relates to a process for producing an hydraulically transportable solid-liquid mixture. According to the invention, the mixture components are processed in a mixer with a first amount of liquid to form a miscible but not yet pumpable suspension, and subsequently a second amount of liquid is added in the mixer according to an empirically determined relationship between the rheological mixture characteristics and the volume concentration of solids, and a pumpable mixture is produced that sets without exuding any residual liquid, and possibly a third amount of liquid is added in a following reactor if the permissible pressure loss is exceeded.
