Extinguishing compositions for Class A and B fires

Fire extinguishing compositions for foam or water-spray extinguishers, comprising at least one water soluble AFFF emulsifier and combustion inhibitor and sufficient amounts of urea, citric acid and ethylene (or propylene) glycol to form a homogeneous clear solution.The nature of the composition is unchanged even after freezing. Also claimed, is a foam or water-spray extinguisher using the composition for extinguishing class A and B fires.
