<p>A housing for electrical components, such as a control unit for a lighting system comprises a base 12 and a cover 13 both bent from sheet metal. The base includes a bottom wall 14 and peripheral walls 15 and 16. Two T-shaped tabs 18 project upwardly from the centre of each end wall 16. The cover has a top wall 20 and peripheral walls 21 and 22. Slots are formed in flanges 23 projecting from the end walls 22 of the cover. The slots cooperate with the T-shaped tabs to hold the cover in position. The cover carries electrical components 50 which are electrically connected to the terminals on the base by pin and socket connectors 60 and 40 which also serve to locate the cover transversely relative to the base. <IMAGE></p> |
