FIELD: fastening member production. SUBSTANCE: fastening ring includes metallic belt bent to ring whose two ends are mutually butt joined without significant thickening of joining zone. Ends of belt are arranged in such a way that they are in mutual contact along their end edges. Thickness of each end is equal to half-thickness of belt; inner side of ends is displaced outside relative to inner surface of ring in such a way that to provide groove for plate whose thickness is equal to half thickness of belt. Belt ends and plate are provided with clamps and additional openings. Clamps are introduced into openings and their free end portions are riveted to members opposite relative to those supporting them. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of fastening ring. 6 cl, 8 dwg øøø1
