PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorbing member capable of effectively utilizing straws which are produced in a large quantity and will e decomposed without causing any environmental pollution by returning them to earth after use. SOLUTION: A predetermined amount of dried straws 11 is compressed to arrange a shape and is bound by stitching them with threads 12, thus imparting them predetermined elasticity. A shock absorbing member 10 is sewed with threads 12 along an outer shape of an article and its inside is cut out. A bag is packed with straw scrap thus cut out, and the bags thus made protect parts. |
