<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set the resistance value of a resistor at a row-resistance region so that the resistance value is set within the range of a prescribed resistance value with good accuracy by a method wherein the resistor consists of at least an insulating substrate, one pair of upper surface electrode layers, which are respectively provided on the side parts of the upper surface of the substrate and have notch-parts, and a resistance layer provided in such a way as to connect electrically with the upper surface electrode layers. SOLUTION: A substrate 31 consists of alumina or the like. One pair of upper surface electrode layers 32 are respectively provided in the side parts of the upper surface of the substrate 31 and consist of a mixed material of silver with glass. A resistance layer 33, which is made of the mixed material of a ruthenium oxide with glass, the mixed material of silver, palladium with glass and the like, is provided in such a way that parts of the layer 33 are respectively made to superpose on the one pair of the layers 32 on the upper surface of the substrate 31 to connect electrically with the layers 32. Notch parts 34 are formed in the layers 32 in an electrode layer printing process in such a way that the center parts of the layers 32 are left by 1/4 of the width of the layers 32 from both side parts of the layers 32 to the same direction as the width direction of the substrate. A trimmed groove 35 is provided for correcting the resistance value of the layer 33 to a prescribed resistance value by a laser or the like.</p> |
