<p>This air bag holder module comprises a bowl-shaped housing (10), into which a cylinder of compressed gas (12) is fitted so that, when operated, the gas escapes from the bottle and is heated by a chemical reaction causing the gas to expand into the air bag (50). The air bag is held in a box-shaped upper housing and has a fixing frame (40) which is set into the upper rim of the gas bottle housing (10). The upper and lower housing, are each formed in one piece by injection molding to simplify assembly.</p> |
