PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily generate and transmit a complicated homepage by allowing a server to convert sent text information into a homepage and newly generate the converted new homepage or replacing it with an existing homepage. SOLUTION: A personal computer operating system and WWW browser software in an external storage device 12 are started to connect the personal computer 11 to the Internet 20 through a modem 13 and a public telephone line 14. In this state, the personal computer 11 is enabled to access a server system 30 and the server side converts text information sent from a client side into a homepage and transfers data of the requested homepage to the client side. The client side displays the data of the new homepage sent from the server side on a screen. Consequently, the existing homepage can be replaced and updated. |
