摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibration caused by the nonuniform rotation of an internal combustion engine without impairing the responsiveness and stability of rotating speed control. SOLUTION: The rotor of an AC machine (3-phase synchronizing machine) 102 is connected to the main shaft of an internal combustion engine 101. A rotating speed control circuit 106 calculates the target value of output torque from an AC machine so that the rotating speed of the internal combustion engine is controlled to the target value of an idle rotating speed by an idle rotating speed calculation means 105. Based on the target value of output torque from the AC machine, an inverter 110 provides a rotating magnetic field to the rotor of the AC machine 102 by a current fed from a battery 103, and controls the output torque from the AC machine 102 to the target value. Then the averaged value of the target values of output torque from the AC machine is calculated, and the throttle opening is controlled so that the averaged value becomes null or a value according to a required power generation amount in order to control the output torque of the internal combustion engine.
