PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To report a ranking state to a customer and to promote the will of purchase after the next time by allocating ranks corresponding to the transaction frequency of customer. SOLUTION: The bar code of member's card or the last receipt and the sales item and sales amount of merchandise for the customer at that time point are inputted from an input part 110 and that information is dispatched to a sum-up processing part 120. At the processing part 120, information showing the sales items purchased by the customer is dispatched to an editing processing part 140, further, the sales amount for each item is summed up and written in a table-of-contents detailed customer file 160, and points or the like corresponding to the summed-up sales amount are dispatched to the editing part 140. Thus, the editing part 140 reads a customer master 190, performs discounting based on the sales amount at that time point and the points or rank information of customer written in the master 190, edits the result and dispatches it to an output part 150. The output part 150 prints out this information on the receipt and outputs it. |
