DEODORIZING BODY FOR DEODORIZING DEVICE, AND DEODORIZING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the pressure drop in ventilation of a deodorizing device and to eliminate a shaded part in the irradiation with an ultraviolet lamp. SOLUTION: The deodorizing device 1 is constituted of a deodorizing unit 10 and an ultraviolet lamp 20, the deodorizing unit 10 is constituted of plural plate-like deodorizing bodies 11, the plural plate-like deodorizing bodies are arranged nearly in parallel to the ventilation direction and the plate-like deodorizing bodies are composed of a photocatalyst such as TiO2 and an adsorbent such as high silica zeolite. The ultraviolet lamp 20 is arranged so that the longitudinal direction is along the arraying direction of the plate-like deodorizing body 11 to allow the both ends so as to hang the plate-like deodorizing body 11a constituting the deodorizing unit 10 at the both ends.
