PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a developing device to be used for an image forming device having various kinds of image forming speed from a low speed to a high speed by dispersively providing magnetic materials on the surface of a substrate thereby stably forming a developer layer. SOLUTION: The magnetic materials 7a are dispersively provided on the substrate 6 with a conductive adhesive layer 7b. As the substrate 6 used for a developer carrier, a cylindrical pipe is preferable and one which is constituted in such a manner that a non-magnetic metal or alloy such as aluminum, stainless steel and brass is cylindrically formed, polished and ground for instance is suitably used. These metallic cylindrical pipes are formed or worked with high accuracy, to make the uniformity of an image excellent. As the magnetic materials 7a, ferromagnetic body powder can be used. For dispersively providing the magnetic materials 7a on the surface of the developer carrier, an adhesive is used or a surface resin layer can be formed out of binding resin including the magnetic materials 7a. Further, toner electrifying auxiliary layers 7c being auxiliary to the electrification of toner are formed also on the magnetic materials 7a. |
