PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic driver which outputs rotational motion upward without being hindered by an elastic member, without using a complicated mechanism. SOLUTION: An ultrasonic driver is equipped with a piezoelectric elastic member 21 periodically expanding and contracting in circumferential direction by the application of high voltage, a vertical oscillation member 22 joined by facing to the piezoelectric elastic member 21 and provided with a projection 22a in the circumferential direction of the face opposite to that junction face and oscillated periodically in the vertical direction together with the projection, accompanying the expansion and contraction of the piezoelectric elastic member 21, a rotationally shifting member 23 abutting on the projection 22a of the vertical oscillation member 22 and rotates in circumferential direction, accompanying the vertical oscillation of the projection 22a of the vertical oscillation member 22. A pressure transmitting member 31 fixed to the center of rotation of the rotationally shifting member 23 and an elastic press member 32 for giving the pressure transmitting member 32 the pressing force to pressure-weld the rotationally shifting member 23 and the vertical oscillation member 22 together are installed, and above the pressure transmitting member 31, a rotational motion transmitting part 31a is provided, being projected upward from the pressure-welding position of the elastic press member 32. |
