FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: given invention is related to measurement of electric voltages or electric fields with the use of crystal having electrooptical effect (Pockels effect). Gradient of intensity of electric field in x direction is formed transverse to direction of propagation (y direction) of light wave polarized in z direction from which proper gradient of refractive index of n crystal transpires. As result of this deflection of light wave in crystal that is used as measure of voltage or intensity of field across output dependent on intensity of field takes place.
