PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a highly efficient operation by freely changing the cooling capacity of a cooler depending on the temperature and humidity conditions of supplied air. SOLUTION: A constant temperature and humidity air supply device comprises an air cooler 2 having a thermoelectric refrigerating device, an air heater 3, a humidifier 4, a temperature detector 6 and a humidity detector 7 in a duct 50 so that the air heater and the humidifier are controlled by detected signals. The air cooler 2 has the thermoelectric refrigerating device and a dew point temperature detector 25 for detecting the temperature of cooling air. Further, a cooler temperature setting signal generating means E is provided for calculating the dew point of the supplied air from the temperature and humidity conditions of the supplied air, adding temperature correction for adjusting humidification to the calculated dew point and outputting the obtained temperature as the setting cooling temperature of the air cooler. Further, an air cooler controller F is provided for comparing the signal of the dew point temperature detector with the setting cooling temperature to control the air cooler based on the deviation output therebetween. |
