FIELD: communications engineering; portable and mobile radio communication devices. SUBSTANCE: rod antenna is based on single- crystalline nickel-aluminum bronze in pseudoelastic state. Bronze single crystal is pressurized with rubber to protect it against precipitation and to improve its reliability and safety against injury. Antenna material is capable of sustaining bending stresses comparable with rubber or spiral spring and its strength is comparable with that of steel.
