PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the ignition in a combustion chamber by forming a long flame trap from the upstream side toward the combustion chamber so as to accumulate the heat generated in explosion and combustion. SOLUTION: An ignition plug 9 is provided on a combustion chamber of a pulse combustion device 1, and an exhaust pipe 7 is formed on the combustion chamber 2. A columnar flame trap 8 long in the longitudinal direction is arranged in a cushion chamber 3, the flame trap 8 is formed of, e.g. ceramics, and a large number of through holes are formed in a honeycomb shape, and the dimension in the longitudinal direction is larger than the contour dimension. The combustion heat in the explosion and combustion in the combustion chamber 2 can be accumulated by the flame trap 8. The fuel and the sucked air passes through the flame trap 8, and the temperature rises. Thus, the temperature of the fuel and the sucked air which are mixed in the combustion chamber 2 rises to realize the condition easy to ignite. For example, evaporation of the liquid fuel is promoted, and the ignition is assisted to achieve the full combustion. |
