PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerating plant for grain in which the floor is not wetted even if a collected drainage is missed to be discharged and polished rice is not wetted by the drainage leaked into a take-out container. SOLUTION: A rice chest comprises a container 20 being thrown in with polished rice from above and delivering the polished rice from below. The container 20 is arranged, on the side thereof, with a Pettier cooling unit 10. A power supply 30 for the cooling unit 10 is disposed below a heat discharge side heat sink 14. Drainage 30a from the heat absorbing side heat sink 13 of the cooling unit 10 is collected in an evaporation tray 32 having high thermal conductivity interposed between the heat discharge side heat sink 14 and the power supply 30. The drainage 30a collected in the evaporation tray 32 is evaporated thereat by the heated radiated from the power supply 30. Since periodic discharge of the collected drainage is not required, the floor is prevented from being wetted and the polished rice is prevented from being wetted by the drainage leaked into a take-out container even if the drainage is missed to be discharged. |
