PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the generation of acid gas from a cellulose-based powder and prevent the moldability of a molder from lowering by a method wherein the cellulose-based powder is treated so as to be covered with an antimony oxide and then the obtained cellulose-based powder treated through covering and a polyvinyl chloride-based resin are mixed together and, after that, the resultant mixture is extrusion-molded or injection-molded so as to mold a woody member. SOLUTION: Since the surface of a cellulose-based powder is covered with an antimony oxide, no acid gas is diffused from the interior of the powder to its exterior even when heated at molding, resulting in preventing a product from discoloring due to the deterioration and decomposition reaction of a polyvinyl chloride-based resin and the inner surface of a molder from being corroded. Further, since the cellulose-based powder is treated through covering, the cellulose-based powder disperses uniformly in the polyvinyl chloride-based resin and no agglutination occurs. The clogging in the molder due to the compounding of the cellulose-based powder can be prevented from occurring. In addition, the strength and external appearance of the obtained woody member are improved. |
