<p>Paper and bag for protecting fruit, preferably filter paper - particularly of the type used in the preparation of infusions - for protecting fruit during its growing cycle on the actual plant. The paper aims to act as a natural protective barrier, in the same way as the skin (shell, husk, peel). The physicochemical characteristics of this type of paper (high degree of permeability of air, high breakage strength when wet, low basic weight, high degree of interception of ultraviolet light, high percentage of natural and totally recyclable fibres) make it suitable for remaining with the fruit throughout the growing period. In addition, the use of this paper allows selective treatment of the fruit with pesticides and it prevents contamination of the fruit with pesticides aimed at other parts of the plant. <IMAGE></p> |
