PURPOSE:To suppress the inner pressure reduction generated in a pressure chamber when a relief valve is operated and suppress an idle action of a flow adjusting spool by guiding the operating pressure to the relief valve arranged at a cavity section inside the flow adjusting spool via a pressure guide path direction connected to a discharge chamber. CONSTITUTION:A flow control device suitable for a hydraulic circuit for a power steering device feeding the operating oil to a hydraulic actuator generating the steering assisting force is inserted with a flow adjusting spool 7 slidably in the longitudinal direction into a fitting hole 30, and a feed chamber 3 is formed between the spool 7 and a discharge union 31 screwed and fixed at the opening end of the fitting hole 30. The feed chamber 3 is communicated to the discharge chamber 5 via a throttle section 4, and it is separated from a pressure chamber 8 by the spool 7. The flow adjusting spool 7 has a relief valve 10 in the cavity of a bottomed cylindrical main body section 7a, and the cavity section is communicated to one side end section of the flow adjusting spool 7 by a pressure guide hole 70 penetrating the axial section of a screw cover 7b. |
