PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the user's input operation labor for the generation of a document by inserting document data in the CSV format inputted through a communication means at an insertion position specified by a format setting means and thus preparing a document. SOLUTION: When the user inputs the file name of desired document data to be used on a keyboard 24, a CPU 21 accesses a host computer 10 through a communication I/O 15, and receives and stores the document data on the inputted file name in an RAM 23. Further, the CPU 21 once receiving the specification of the file name of a format reads the format of the specified file name out of an HDD 28 and temporarily stores it in the RAM 23. In the RAM 23, an area for preparing a CSV document is prepared, a character string, etc., entered the format is written in order at positions corresponding to items of a field 1, and then the document data inputted from the host computer 1 are entered at positions in the CSV document preparation area in the entry order. |
