PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile equipment by which the user discriminates a desired document. SOLUTION: When a received object document is a document designated by a mail box (affirmative in the S1), it is discriminated that to which of four kinds of documents as a document received by facsimile communication, a confidential polling document reserved and designated for confidential polling, a scanning document obtained by reading an original by a scanner, and a host storage document transferred from an external computer the object document corresponds (S2, S5, S7, S9). Then the discrimination result is set as a document type of the object document (S3, S5, S7, S9) and a document management information parameter other than the document type is set (S10). Every time the document is received, the document management information relating to the document is set and stored, then the document stored in a mail box is managed. |
