Inactivation of viral suspension is carried out with formaldehyde solution followed by its separation from cellular DNA with barium sulfate or kaolin and free formaldehyde is inactivated. The obtained viral suspension is purified again from cellular DNA and other contaminants with protamine sulfate followed by its centrifugation and/or chromatography. Resuspended precipitate after centrifugation or the corresponding chromatography fraction is standardized on the basis of viral antigen and DNA content and used for vaccine preparing.
