摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable virtual reality display and slow motion recording and reproducing for the unit of specified frames per second by vertically dividing a photosensitive plane into odd number of pieces when manufacturing a solid-state image pickup device of the NTSC system and simultaneously scanning respective divided parts. SOLUTION: Concerning a CCD image pickup device using CCD imaging devices based on the NTSC system, the CCD image pickup device having five video outputs is constituted by vertically dividing the photosensitive plane of a CCD imaging device into odd number of pieces (five pieces in this case) on the production stage and simultaneously scanning the respective divided parts 1Ch-5Ch. One picture is composed of 525 horizontal scanning lines but concerning a five-divided NTSC-MST television, one channel partially has 105 scanning lines because of 525÷5=105. A multiscan video display device vertically equally divides one picture into five pieces, one channel partially takes 105 horizontal scanning lines, five channels simultaneously perform scanning, and images for 150 frames per second can be displayed.
