摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous casting method of steel with an existing continuos caster as it is and capable of increasing a casting speed higher than an existing way. SOLUTION: In continuous casting of a casting speed of Go (ton/min), by continuously supplying a steel material of (g) (kg/min) in a molten steel, a casting speed G is set as in an equation Go (1+0.005 (g/Go ))<G<Go (1+0.01 (g/Go )), further, a supply speed (g) of the steel material is preferably set as in an equation g<(Go .Cp (ΔTTD-ΔT*)/(TM.Cp +L)). Here, L is latent heat of molten steel, Go is casting speed (ton/min),ΔT* is critical heating temp. of molten steel,ΔTTD is super heating temp. in tundish, Cp is specified heat, TM is melting point of steel, a steel material is preferably of 0.05 mm thickness (t) and <=0.8×(cast slab thickness) width. A supply position is preferably a position >=100 mm apart from a mold short side. When using a casting flux, an enclosure in which the flux does not intrude, is arranged to a molten steel surface, the steel material is supplied in the enclosure.
