PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the terminal monitor and the monitor system including it where occurrence of a fault is surely reported to a person in charge of the equipment or a maintenance personnel. SOLUTION: On the occurrence of a fault (11), a monitor of a terminal monitor sends a fault alarm signal to a CPU. Upon the receipt of the fault alarm at the CPU, a name of a maintenance personnel and the like is retrieved and a contact to the maintenance personnel or the like is prepared (12). After the end of retrieval of the maintenance personnel and the like, fault information is transmitted to a pager of the maintenance personnel and the like (13). The maintenance personnel and the like accesses the CPU to enter personal information and the like of the maintenance personnel and the like and then the reception is acknowledged (14). When no reception acknowledgement comes from the maintenance personnel or the like within a set time after the transmission of the fault information (14), the CPU retrieves the maintenance personnel and the like (reservation). |
