<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily discriminate differences in the resolution and size of a display image by selecting and specifying one of display modes and displaying images in display frames according to the specified display mode. SOLUTION: It is made possible to select three modes, i.e., a normalization display mode, a specified magnification display mode, and a specified size display mode by using a GUI(graphic user interface) 60 for display mode setting. Then when the specified size display mode is selected, different images are displayed on a GUI 80 for retrieval result display, and the respective images are thinned out according to magnification in inverse proportion to the lengths of the actual image corresponding to one side of an image display frame 82 for retrieval and the resolution of the respective images, thereby adjusting and displaying the thinned-out images in the image display frame 82 for retrieval so that one side of the image display frame 82 for retrieval corresponds to the specified length of the actual images.</p> |
