<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor where a small and inexpensive back-up power source is used, a time required till main power is recovered to an application operation possible state when it is recovered from power interruption is shortened and the reduction of a working rate is suppressed. SOLUTION: When the power interruption of main power is detected by a power interruption detecting parat 9, the information processor 1 starts power supply by the back-up power source 8 so as to execute operation back-up. When a passage time from the detection of power interruption by a timer 11 is measured and power interruption is continued for more than a prescribed time, power supply to a peripheral device 5 is stopped and a shut-down processing is started. Therefore, capacitance required for the back-up power source 8 is made to be the small one so that the small and the inexpensive back-up power source is used. When the power interruption of main power is restored till a prescribed timing, the shut-down processing is not started so that the working rate of the information processor 1 is not reduced.</p> |
