PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of executing desirable positioning with respect to a transfer paper, so as to attain image formation for an original image. SOLUTION: The exposure starting position of a writing part 10 with respect to photoreceptors 13Y-13K is adjusted in a width direction perpendicular to the rotational directions of the photoreceptors 13Y-13K, by the command of an arithmetic control part 12, based on a position control signal inputted from an operation display part 27 through an operator. The timing of feeding the transfer paper 22 to transfer units 16Y-6K in the carrying direction of the transfer paper 22 is adjusted so that the central position of the maximum width perpendicular to the rotational directions of the photoreceptors, of the original image is set at an arbitrary distance from the central position of the width perpendicular to the carrying direction of the transfer paper 22 and the central position in the rotational directions of the photoreceptors, of the original image is set at the arbitrary distance from the longitudinal central position in the carrying direction of the transfer paper 22. Thus, the printing displacement of the original image in an original, the error in cutting of the transfer paper 22, a positional deviation caused by carrying, etc., are compensated so that the image can be always formed in a proper position on the transfer paper 22. |
