PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an equipment main body from falling down or noise from being produced at the arrival of an incoming call with respect to the portable communication equipment that makes an incoming call notice by vibrating the equipment main body. SOLUTION: In the case of detecting an incoming call and the equipment main body is discriminated to be placed on a fixed position such as a desk top based on a detection signal from a detection section 9, a main control section 10 controls a storage section 8 to recognize an incoming call notice method that is stored as initial setting, and discriminates whether or not the recognized incoming call notice method is the vibration notice. In the case that the recognized incoming call notice method is discriminated to be the vibration notice method, the main control section 10 controls the storage section 8 to recognize a revised incoming call notice method stored as the initial setting and controls a call tone generating section 4 or an optical generating section 5 based on the recognized revised incoming call notice method to inform the arrival of an incoming call to the user by means of a call tone or light. |
