PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject milk beverage comprising acidic milk with a controlled specific pH, propylene glycol alginate, water-soluble calcium, etc., enriched in calcium, extremely stable in physical properties and excellent in flavor, by making an average diameter of the lactoprotein particles in the acidic milk equal to or less than a specific value. SOLUTION: This beverage comprises at least 3 kinds of materials, i.e., an acidic milk adjusted to <pH 3.8, propylene glycol alginate and water-soluble calcium, wherein an average diameter of the lactoprotein particles in the acidic milk is <=4.0 μm. Preferably, this beverage contains 0.1 to 1.0 wt.% of the propylene glycol alginate and the content of the water-soluble calcium is set at 200 to 1000 mg based on 100 mg of the final product. |
