PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the increase of a data amount relating to a voice function by providing a code data storage means for storing contents to be read aloud as voice as the code data of text data or the like and a means for voice synthesizing and outputting the stored code data. SOLUTION: This electronic camera 100 stores the text data formed by a personal computer and a word processor not shown in the Fig. connected to an external storage device 10. A user selects optional data by a text data selection part 5 and a text data control part 6 tentatively stores the selected text data in a storage part 1. Then, the text data control part 6 processes the text data stored in the storage part 1 and delivers them to a voice synthesizer part 7 and the voice synthesizer part 7 voice synthesizes the delivered text data and outputs them from the speaker of a voice output part 8. Thus, the operation method of the electronic camera or the like are stored with a small data amount and explained by the voice. |
