PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light amplifier, which is simple in constitution and is not deteriorated in performance. SOLUTION: Two light reflectors 7a and 7b are inserted in the incident end side of a rate-earth-added optical fiber 1a at a prescribed interval, whereby a resonator is constituted in the middle of the path of the fiber 1a. By using oscillation light, which is generated by this resonator, for light amplitude as superposed light, a photo multiplexer for enabling a light source for superposition and the superposed light to multiple with each other is dispensed with. |
