PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a transfer device from being soiled with toner remaining on a photoreceptive drum, without being transferred to a transfer material, due to jamming, etc. SOLUTION: The toner is stuck to an electrostatic latent image on the photoreceptor drum 1 rotated in the direction of an arrow R1, to form a toner image, by a cyan developing device 4C. In the case the transfer material is jammed in this state, when jam processing is executed and the formation of an image is resumed, the transfer device 5 is soiled because the toner of the toner image on the drum 1 is transferred to the transfer device 5 with a transferring part N. In such a case, a developer recovering means 100 is arranged between a developing unit 4K on the most downstream side and the transferring part N, to remove the toner on the drum 1. |
