PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire, especially a studless tire, which can exercise the original drive control property and the side slip preventive property sufficiently by the small grooves, even under the service condition in a large baggage loading. SOLUTION: In a pneumatic tire in which plural main grooves 2 extending in the tire peripheral direction, and plural lateral grooves 3 extending in the tire width direction are provided on a tread surface 1, and plural blocks 5 are divided and formed by the main grooves 2 and the lateral grooves 3, the blocks 5 are divided by small grooves 4 with the width narrower than the main grooves 2 and the lateral grooves 3, and smaller blocks 7 are provided in the small grooves 4 to be held between the blocks 5 and 5. Further favorably, the heads of the smaller blocks 7 are projected to the upper side of the tread surface 1, as well as the smaller blocks 7 are formed in a wedge form. |
