PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a B-cell affinitive ligand and a B-cell separation material that are less expensive and stable to sterilization, excellent in the property of selecting B cells and are suited to an extracorporeal circulation therapy. SOLUTION: The B-cell separation material has an aromatic fused ring as its skeleton and an organic low-molecular weight ligand having 2 or more and 10 or less non-dissociative hydrophilic substituents in a molecule on the surface of a water-insoluble carrier. And the B-cell affinitive organic low- molecular weight ligand has an aromatic fused ring as its skeleton and owns 2 or more and 10 or less non-dissociative hydrophilic substituents in a molecule and 1 or more dissociative hydrophilic substituents in a molecule. Therefore, though an expensive ligand such as an antibody is not needed, it is possible to capture and collect B-cells from a liquid containing B-cells with selectivity comparable to the antibody, and since stable to sterilization and can be processed in large quantities, it can be used as a B-cell separator used for extracorporeal circulation intended for removing cells selectively by filling it in a vessel having at least an inlet and an outlet. |
